Greatest Camp on Earth
June 20 - 22, 2024

What Others Have Said About Camp

"Camp is where we discover that we haven't mastered it all. We make new friends, schmooze with old ones, and return rejuvenated with new tricks up our ample judogi sleeves.
I honestly can say that I learned more in one week of judo camp than I learned in one year in Japan "

"Camp exemplifies the Judo spirit principle of Jita Kyoei. We look forward to seeing you on the mat next year! "

"Few realize that one of the premier kata clinics in the country takes place at the Greatest Camp on Earth every summer. Whether you are a kata novice dreading the Nage-no-Kata requirement for your next promotion or a seasoned shiai competitor taking the first step towards national or international kata competition, the Greatest Camp is the ideal place to build your skills."

Lisa Capriotti
IJF Pan American Kata Champion
Charleston, SC

"I recommend attending this camp. You will be satisfied from the minute you check in until the time you leave. Camp can be a lot of work, or it can be a time to sit and watch, taking in everything. Either way, the camp is one of the most enjoyable times I have ever had and has become a yearly ritual. "

Michael Saxton

"At this camp you will experience three full days of instruction from over 50 nationally and internationally recognized teachers. During the day you can sample a wide variety of martial arts: competition Judo, traditional Jujutsu, Brazilian Jujitsu, combat Judo, Jeet Kune Do, Sambo, Kenjitsu, and Aikido. There are classes for kata, coaching, and refereeing, as well as First Aid, CPT, Kappo, massage, and healing arts.
Don't delay. Make your resolution TODAY, and I'll see you in June! "

"Dear Mrs. Rucker,
Dr. Charles sent a batch of pictures he took at the Greatest Camp on Earth and I just feel compelled to write and tell you that I had a really great time. John Merwin and I roomed together again this year and I have sworn that as long as I am involved in judo I will continue to promote and attend your camp.
You have had the greatest teachers come to camp and I need them. There is so much to learn. I have particularly enjoyed classes with Cooper Sensei from Rochester, NY; Sensei Nazenmetz; and all the others teaching. How do you do it? These people are great! In addition to learning judo and jujitsu from the greatest teachers on earth I met people from all over the country and some old friends. The evening after dinner discussions with students and staff was the icing on the cake.
Let me close with a big thank you for all the hard work that a successful project this size demands! "

"The Greatest Judo Camp, 2019 was absolutely awesome! I learned so much and look forward to returning in the future and bringing other highly talented folks so they can learn from top line performers and technicians! In addition, I would like to split myself into 3-4 people so I could attend the other sessions."
